What it does

Orca is a desktop app for running AI coding agents. You can send one prompt to several agents at once, each working in its own git worktree (a separate copy of your project), then compare results and keep the best one.

It works with any agent that runs in a terminal, including Claude Code. It also has a built-in browser, a code editor, GitHub and Linear views, and a mobile companion app that notifies you when an agent finishes.

Install it

  1. Go to onorca.dev/download and download the version for your computer (macOS, Windows or Linux).
  2. Open the downloaded file and install it like any other app.
  3. Mac users can use Homebrew instead with the command below.
  4. Optional: install the mobile companion from the iOS App Store or the Android APK link in the repo, and pair it with the desktop app.

Mac with Homebrew

Terminal
brew install --cask stablyai/orca/orca

Use it

  1. Open Orca and point it at a project.
  2. Start Claude Code or another agent in a worktree.
  3. Send the same prompt to several agents to compare their results, then merge the one you like.
  4. Use Design Mode to click an element in the built-in browser and send its code and a screenshot to your agent.

Good to know

Orca collects anonymous usage data. The privacy and telemetry docs explain what and how to opt out.
